Butter Bears

Butter Bears is a small, dedicated cattery specializing in golden shaded British Longhairs, with a focus on exceptional health, beautiful temperament, and that irresistible teddy bear look the breed is known for.

We are a registered cattery with both TICA & CFA and take the health of our kittens incredibly seriously. Our breeding cats receive comprehensive genetic screening as well as echocardiograms for HCM screening. Every kitten is also backed by an extensive health guarantee and raised with the goal of giving them the very best possible start in life.

Because we are a small cattery, we’re able to put an incredible amount of time into each litter. Our kittens are raised hands-on and carefully socialized from an early age to help them grow into confident, loving, well adjusted companions.

Before falling in love with British Longhairs, I began my breeding journey with Ragdolls. That experience shaped the standards I bring to Butter Bears today, health, temperament, responsible breeding, and an amazing experience for the families who trust me with their new baby.

Nothing makes me happier than seeing my kittens adored by their families. I’m incredibly proud to have earned consistent 5 star feedback from my Ragdoll families, and I bring that same level of care, transparency, and lifelong support to every Butter Bears family.

For me, it’s about so much more than producing a beautiful kitten. I want every Butter Bears kitten to be healthy, well socialized, deeply loved, and every bit as wonderful on the inside as they are beautiful on the outside.
