Animals have always been important to me and led to dedicating years of my life to animal welfare. Volunteering, rehabilitation work, fostering and working in shelters, veterinary hospitals and clinics. I was going to school for veterinary medicine until my priorities shifted to my family. I wanted a way to still work closely with animals and that is when my dream went from veterinary medicine to my own cattery.
I have always loved the Ragdoll breed and took the time to learn about them and looked for a mentor through TICA and CFA. I was incredibly fortunate to be connected to my mentor through TICA. She has dedicated over 20 years preserving traditional line Ragdolls. Her efforts have led her to TICA head chair for the Ragdoll breed. I’m so grateful to be trusted with her cherished lines and work with others she trusts to preserve them. My goal is to contribute to this vital preservation work as she has helping ensure future generations can experience the joy of our beloved breed.
We are focused on preservation breeding traditional line Ragdolls, often called Original-Ragdolls. They are most closely related to the breed’s foundation with over 90% of their lineage fully traceable with no outcrossing. The term “traditional” and sometimes even “traditional lines/pedigree” are often used incorrectly and are not the same thing as a cat from actual fully traceable traditional lines. Traditional line breeders of the Original Ragdoll are an extreme minority in the United States and it’s my passion to help preserve them, work with other breeders who share this vision and educate others about supporting these lines.
We are a registered cattery with TICA, CFA, RFCI and RFWC. Well-socialized kittens ready for family life is a priority to me. I am very fortunate to be able to stay at home full-time raising the kittens. They are raised in our home cage-free and underfoot. All of our kittens grow up with my children and rescued Shepherd mix dog as a member of our family until they are ready to join yours. We do our best to match each one to their forever home.
Our Ragdoll kittens are raised with the highest health standards including vet checks, FVRCP boosters, deworming as-needed, microchip and their spay/neuter procedure before going home. They are seen by Dr Bratton, the owner of Holt Veterinary. They go with 1 free month of pet health insurance through
Trupanion and lifetime support from me. We DNA genetic health test all of our cats prior to being bred to screen for HCM, PKD, MPS, etc. We blood test for FeLV & FIV. We back our kittens with a 4-Year Genetic Health Guarantee and 1-Year FIP warranty.
